25-10-2009 - gemmas 1st birthday preparation

My mood while writing this blog: fine

so lately myself and gemmas dad have been thinking about what we would like for gemmas big day and we have decided we have having a butterly fairy themed party basically everything is gonna be either pink or purple and just really girly, we will however be chucking some winnie the pooh into the mix since my dad had already bought some plates,bowls and a candle when gemma was little (winnie the pooh is gemma nursery theme) we are looking into some face painting for the kids and just some good old fun, food will include, fairy bread, fairy wand cookies,cupcakes, lollies, a fresh fruit and vege platter with dip and juice (other food ideas would be greatly appreciated) this is all we have thought of so far, and then there is the cake, i have found some nice cakes i can buy just 40 mins away there is one called princess fairy and i was wondering if u could all pls take a look and tell me what u think, we are looking at around 50 guests so i will be speaking to the ppl tosee if they would make it bigger like sit it on top of a bigger cake, im not to sure on the cost or anything but i like it so if it reasonabkle it will be the one pls ladys give ur honest opinion of if theres something else on the page u like pls let me know, thanks in advance
