02-5-2008 - Leo looks great

I am happy to say I have had the level 3 ultrasound and Leo looks great. There were no genetic markers. Everything is developed just like it should...He is about 6" long and weighs 7 1/2 oz. It was truly amazing to see him kicking and rolling around. My placenta is on the back of my uterus, they only saw 1 out of 4 of my fibroid tumors this time and he was just busy! I am feeling excited now. I have been very cautious; however after seeing him this last time; I feel like everything will be ok. As long as everything continues as planned- I will have a C-section on September 23rd. What a blessing it will be to have 2 sons. Eli ( our 6 year old) is so excited. We got a highchair the other day and he was so excited to put it in his room ( he has informed us that all of Leo's things need to go in his room ( Leo's) until he gets here). It is so fun to watch his excitment. I have lost 13lbs in this pregnancy and my doctor said that is fine. I am a big girl already and his rule is not to lose more than 10% of your body weight. My blood pressure is lower than normal 106/68 and although I feel anxious sometimes; I guess the rest of my body doesn't know it!
