Hi, sorry it took so long to comment but I've not been on the site in ages. Anyway, HUGE congratulations. I know how important that heartbeat will be to you and I'm so glad things are going well for you. Don't worry about the dates being changed, everything sounds great so far. xx

Oh Jayne, I am absolutely over the moon for you. This is just the BEST news!!!!! Isnt it the most wonderful sight to see the little flashing heartbeat?
CONGRATULATIONS babe, I hope you can now relax and enjoy, you are having this healthy little baby in December! yay!!!!

Congrats! I know the feeling after a BO to see that heartbeat on the screen! Don't worry about the date discrepancy. With mine, they said I was 6 weeks when I knew I was 7.5. And sure enough, they changed my due date back somwhere around week 14. Some babies just develop different. Congrats again!!!!

Hi all,
Have been having some spotting for the last couple of days so went to the doctors this morning and she sent me up to the EPU for an early scan. I was so scared!! Luckily Mark was able to get off work to come and join me. Anyway we went into the U/S room and I couldn't even look at the screen, lol. When I finally plucked up the courage to look I couldn't see anything and then the technician zoomed in and found the heartbeat :-) I cried, lol. My previous 2 pregnancies were blighted ovums so my babies never had heartbeats.
I'm a bit worried that they moved me back from 6 weeks and 6 days to 5 weeks and 3 days but hopefully that will change at the next scan.
I now have some confidence that I will be a mum after all
