| 29-4-2008 - Older Updates | My mood while writing this blog:Tired but Happy |
I've just moved my past updates off of my front page and onto here!
I talked to my doctor `s nurse today, she scheduled an u/s next week, to make sure all is going well this time. Also set up an apt with the doc, and s a set-up apt with the nurse tomorrow. I am glad they are willing to be so proactive this time!
Also, for those that asked about my dog, that is Snowy, our double merle sheltie. She is deaf, mute, and partially blind. She also has her own page on youtube! Just do a search for keenergc, and you will see all her videos!
Had my `first ` apt with the doctors nurse today, to get all my info set up, labwork, weight, etc. And I am still pregnant :-)Only one week until my first u/s, to make sure this little bean is growing as he/she should!
All is going well, just tired. I was worried becuase my chest wasn `t sore like last time, but no need to worry anymore! I woke up this morning and they are killing me :-)I need to get some good sleep tonight!
Still feeling pretty good. My chest is sore, I `m tired, and my belly is wonky, but that `s it.Only two more days until my first u/s, to make sure all is well!
Today was pretty rough, feeling under the weather all day, and lost my appetite. Might just be nerves about the U/S tomorrow, but I think its just a bit of `morning sickness `.I am very hopefull all will go well tomorrow! Either way, whatever the news, I will have to pull myself together because I have to go directly to work after and play hostess to a group of international doctors touring our facility! Keeping busy is good, right? Thank goodness I already have three days done this week!
Well, not the best news today. I am either a week or so behind where I thought, or this pregnancy might not be developing properly. I had a yolk sac, but no visible fetal pole or HB, so I will have to go back next week to see if there was progress. I also had my HCG levels checked today, and will go again Saturday.Well, I guess there still is a bit of hope, but I have resigned myself to thinking that this one wasn `t meant to be, either. Fate can be quite tough some times, eh? I just have to keep proving I am tougher!

Good News! Had my follow up ultrasound today, and low and behold, a healthy littl bean-blob with a heartbeat of 119, which is healthy for where they believe I am, about 6.5 weeks! It was amaizing to see that little flicker on the screen, and I am praying that this baby stays eight where he/she is supposed to be for the next seven months or so! Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!

Time flies, doesn't it? Can't believe it has been several weeks since I updated. It has been a pretty tough time, as my father died last week, after a long battle with cancer. It hurts to know my child will never meet his/her grandfather and get to know him and love him like I did, but I have to realize that life isn't always fair. I have been trying to stay strong and calm, but it can get hard at times.
But the good news, is that other than morning/noon/night sickness, I seem to be doing alright, and have a little baby bump already! I hope everyone is doing okay, as I have fallen behind checking out all the pages and forums!
