16-4-2008 - My Waters have gone!! OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

Just to keep you all updated on the baby front.

We have had a few problems. We went for a scan last Wednesday (35week one) to check to make sure the Placenta had moved out the way for the baby to come out. This had moved out the way but they found another problem, my waters have infact gone!!! I didn’t even know! This is my 4th baby and I put it down to incontinence Hahahaha! They must have been going in the bath or when I have been going too the loo.

Anyway, as a result of this, I have to go to the hospital twice a week, I have to have bloods and swabs to make sure I have no infections as baby is at higher risk of catching something with no waters, CTG scans to check the heart rate of baby and scans to measure the fluid left in my tummy. If it drops much more or the baby is in distress then I have to stay in and have her taken out, either C-Section or they will induce me.

I am not allowed to go past 38 weeks as the placenta starts to deteriate so the baby will definately be here within 2 weeks max! apparently the baby is better inside and growing then it is on the outside, the only problem she would have being born at 35 weeks is the fact she may not be able to swallow properly, however, I am now heading for 36 weeks on Thursday (the stage I had two of mine at) so im not so worried now.

Hope all is well with you all xxxx
