18-8-2008 - Dear Baby...

My mood while writing this blog: A bit impatient!

Dear little son of mine, still all bunched up in my womb,

I just wanted to let you know that I'd really appreciate meeting you face to face very soon... as in days. As in by tomorrow, as I have an appointment with that nasty nurse who handled my miscarriage so poorly. ALSO, as a "signing bonus" my breasts are becoming very hard and a bit sore. I'm thinking there's a load of colostrum for your tiny tummy! I've been "rolling" these nipples for a couple of days, trying to get you to come out. But the bonus being that they puff up REAL quick and are SOOO ready for you to latch on. COME OUT, little boy. And hey, if you don't like being out here, I promise I'll do everything I can to make you feel like you never left. I'll swaddle you, swoosh in your ear, wear you next to my skin all day, and soak in a warm tub to lull you to sleep.

Also, your daddy really wants to meet you.
And stop freaking me out by taking super long naps. NOT nice. That's why I have to startle you; I'm not doing it cuz it's fun.
