14 week update

Saw the doc today. If I hadn't have had any questions the entire visit would have lasted maybe 75 seconds. Seriously...doc came in....listened to the heartbeat (which was 150)...asked me if I wanted the AFP screening test and then asked if I had any questions. Well, of course I had questions....I had been saving up questions for 4 weeks!!! I asked about 10 quick questions and doc was gone. I was a bit disappointed, but I guess that is because my early weeks of pregnancy were so surprising. I am only 14 weeks and have already had 3 ultrasounds so I should be grateful, but I guess I was still hoping for another!!

Well...what now???...I will have the AFP screening blood test done next week and my next doc appt. is May 28th. I'll be 18 weeks then. My next ultrasound won't be for 6 or 7 weeks from now (when I am 20-21 weeks and will have the LONG ultrasound that measures everything, etc., and hopefully tells us the sex!!)

I was diagnosed with an inner ear infection 2 days ago so I am taking Amoxicillan capsules three times a day for a couple more days. Besides those, I am taking a baby aspirin a day, progesterone a day for one more week, prenatal vitamin daily, and one DHA Lipil daily. What a pharmacy I am!!

P.S.--weight is 124 lbs.
