Thanx do u know r u able 2 take evening primrose oil with red raspberry leaf tea i know e.p.o thinens ya blood so it help 2 decrease the risk of blood clots rlt helps 2 reduce blood lose so would they work 2gether or against each other

Ain't that the truth? I have been lucky in that my midwives are good about that, and talk about nutrition and exercises. But I really wonder how many doctors even KNOW about pregnancy nutrition and fitness. All they seem to be able to say is, "Did you take your prenatal vitamins?" Prenatal vitamins are great, and I'm taking those, but they aren't a substitute for eating whole grains, vegetables, fruits, naturally sweetened juices. My mom is a health counselor and she calls it "Sick Care" not Health Care.

In both visits with the doctor, he has never gone over anything related to keeping me healthy and ensuring that I have a safe, healthy pregnancy and delivery. He has never discussed nutrition, exercise, or anything related to my good health. Most doctors truly do not care about a woman's health. If she gets gestational diabetes or other such things, that's good for them because they can make more money off of sick women who will need emergency deliveries and c-sections.
