comment by Judi:
My little one is 3 weeks old and seems to be getting colic. My firstborn had it, too, from 3 weeks to about 6 months of age. I couldn't remember the list of food triggers (things I should avoid) so have looked it up to refresh my memory, and thought I'd share it in case anyone else's little bundles are also getting this way. 'Trigger foods that can cause colic in breast-fed babies: The worst culprits include chocolate, coffee, spicy foods, curries, garlic, onions, alcohol, broccoli, cabbage, beans, legumes, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, grapes, peaches, plums, strawberries, and pineapple. Dairy is a trigger at all ages.' Also burping is very important, and laying her on her tummy can help alleviate the pain and calm her when she screams. Once on solid food, give pawpaw. Bathting her in lavender milk bath may also help.
I`m game, too. What name suits her?...
