27-7-2009 - Low Lying Placenta

So,

I went to my OB for my followup from my ultrasound two weeks ago.

My doctor informed me that my placenta is low lying and that it could possibly be placenta privea... He said that it could still move, we will have to do regular ultrasounds to keep our eye on it.

Having had a c section with my first daughter, I was really wanting a VBAC with this baby. The thought of another section isn't really what scares me, although, I really don't want it. Its the fear of everything else that can go along with the placenta privea..

I am hoping that I can find some people to help clear my head with all of this, and possibly give me a little more info..

I was a little shocked that anything was not perfect, just because I feel so good, and I am going through a wide range of emotions with it.

My doctor told me to stay positive, because anything can happen at this point, but I can't help but stress.

Ugghhh... why can't everything just go smooth and easy???!!!!
