01-12-2008 - a new day and a Dr.s appt.

My mood while writing this blog: mixed.

Today I went to see the nurse practitioner I love her she is so sweet! I couldn't ask for better care than I'm getting at the new women's clinic. They asked me a bunch of questions, drew a ton of blood work, and listened to the baby's heartbeat again. I love that part! it was 160 bpm. Too bad my husband is not interested he is going to miss out. I called him at work to tell him. I don't really know what his thoughts are. Going from soomeone who was so excited to have a baby to someone who wants an abortion there is no telling. It's an emotional roller coaster with that guy. I'm sure it's an emotional roller coaster with me too.

Anyway the Dr's visit... The nurse practitioner thinks it's a girl, I think it's aboy. I don't have a preference really. Wont know until the sono! She (the nurse practitioner) gave me an Rx for my favorite vities: Prima Care One, and presents. I got a few bags of goodies to look through, a travel bag to taek to the hospital and samples of formula.:-) That kinda gets me excited. I love to swaddle and feed and care for babies!!! It is so fun to be a mom when you have a stable parner! I hope this whole thing goes well, even though things aren't going too well between my husband and I at the moment I have faith. I say that as I cry. I don't know if it's just hormones or what? Well, it's been 5 hours since I've had food on my stomach and I'm getting a little nauseated. gotta go! Hope eveyone is doing spectacular.
