21-12-2008 - Cravings...and other 2nd trimester things...

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

You know they say that cravings are something that are only in the first trimester.. But I think I have a craving for sour stuff this time around. I never did with my Son and daughter. First it started off that everything made me nauseated, and even the water tasted bad, So I bought lemons and limes to freshen the water up a month or two ago. And I started liking the lemons, I like salt and vinegar chips too, and sour candy. I usually don't care for lemon, or sour things too much, so I am relating this specifically to this pregnancy. Oh and I am definately feeling the little butterflies more now from the inside, Not so much with my hand on the outside of my tummy. I feel great though!!! I have had no more nausea since entering this second timester and a lot less fatigue! I feel wonderful! Sometimes I forget I'm pregnant!!! We were driving to a restaurant the other day and I said "Oh I'd love a margatita!!".. But then I remembered instantly I was pregnant and couldn't believe I forgot and said that, b/c I would never want to drink being pregnant! I'm too fearful of fetal alcohol syndrome!!! Anyway, I just haven't felt this good in a long time I really don't feel pregnant! I'm not really showing just bloated looking with huge boobs. I'm wearing size 6 jeans now where I use to wear a 4. I think I am having a boy. But I wont know until next month. (I have No preference really) I do have another appt. on Dec 31st, would be cool if they whipped out the sono machine and took a look at it... Oh I keep forgetting.. IT's got a nickname.. It's nick name is Rocky now. My daughter wanted to name it Rocky and me and my friend Joanna thought it would be silly and cute to call it Rocky so Rocky it is... Until birth or until I decide on a name OF COURSE. I have been having pregnancy brain a little with periods of lucidity and brilliance then I'll go through phases of alzheimer's dementia I swear!!! ( No.. husband is still having a mental breakdown and I can be of no assistance) Keep him in your prayers that he will accept this baby that HE initially wanted and that I wont have to divorce him and be a single mom with 3 kids in 6 months). Anyway, that is the good, the bad and the silly for now... Will write more after Christmas I bet we'll all have stuff to talk about.
