16-3-2009 - Gestational diabetes?

Ok So today I saw my Dr. go to hear my little 26 weekers heart beat and then he preceeded to kick the Dr. He likes to kick anything that touches the belly. I have been given orders by my Dr. to refrain from eating sugar.. Yes, I am pregnant and now on a diet. She said my baby and weight gain is too fast for only 26 weeks and it puts me and my little guy in danger so I have gone shopping and got some tomatoes, broccoli florette, carrots, whole whete crackers and 6 grain bread and SUGAR free preservs (How the heck do they take sugar out of fruit?))) Anyway,m I'm pissed. I shouldn't curse Im a mom X 3 now but they aren't reading this. I am so mad that I'm so unhealthy. and it's mainly b/c my job keeps me on the road in my car, i can't exercise in my car, I cant heat up soup in my car and I end up eating a lot of fast food when I'm running late, so SInce jan I've been treating my poor body sort of badly. Sedentary lifestyle and poor diet filled with fatty foods, is so bad!!! I am Short of breath., tired, and just like the guy off the Documentary "Supersize me" After he went on that Mc Donalds diet for a Month. Sooo, I am starting a new lifestyle and trying trying to get exercise in there but I'm so tired, and i never have time to exercise! I literally work all day and night most of the time, but if I have a minute i will exercise tomorrow. I will make the time. I felt better after working out to Lisa Harts Prenatal video the other day my round ligament pain went away. So that's what's going on with me. How is everyone else?? Oh I am pondering the name Ben right now. really liking "Ben and daniel" but I am so fickle. I just wish I could totally fall in love with a name.... I want to give him a good name.

hey dear.... we haven't kept in touch lately... I'm sorry to hear your having a hard time with your pregnancy, with everything else you have to deal with you should have been one of the ones with a super easy time! there is a lot of really good sugar free stuff, but I can't imagine have to be on the dreaded prego diet! lol I have to go for my gluclose test today(again) I might be right there with you!?!? how is things going with Will and the kids? are you nesting yet?

It's hard to not succumb to constant pregnancy cravings! It's also a bit hard to find time to do your workouts when you're getting close to 7 months pregnant and working all day! I hope things get better for you and you get some time to relax, remember stress never helps with eating/dieting either! Hmm, as far as the naming, how about Beniel? JK LOL I had to, sorry! It's very hard falling in love with one particular name, but when you find that one name, you'll be bound to love it, best of luck! Hope the family situation is getting better for you as well!
