14-6-2009 - 3 days until my due date.

My mood while writing this blog: IN PAIN!

Ok yesterday I had the worst contractions all day long except they weren't regular and so when I called the hospital the only L&D nurse on staff there said, "Well you can come up here but I'm just going to send you home because it doesn't sound like real labor, you are having round ligament pain go drink some water and lay down'". I thought yeah round ligament pain that comes in waves and hurts in my cervix and back! I do have round ligament pain as well but she ignored my other comments..She was so mean, and I was hurting too bad to hear that sort of thing. But I decided against going up there b/c of how mean she was and didn't want her as my nurse, besides, I know her shift is over now so I may go to the hospital today if things progress. I had the worst pains last night it hurt so bad in my back at times, it would literally take my breath away!!! Last night I had nightmaers about electric eels stinging me. I kept waking up in pain. And can barely move without things hurting it is VERY hard for me to walk at all when I had to empty my bladder, But atleast I got some sleep. I am thankful for that! This morning I woke up and had some blood on my pad -I have been wearing a pad lately in case my water breaks or something b/c of all of the pains I'm been having. So this mucusy blood could be more of the mucus plug or it may be my cervix stretching? Also, a few big drops of water came out, but I don't think my water broke.?.?.?- It could've just been my bladder draining. Baby is still kicking today so that's good. The contractions are sometimes so bad and painful, but still not regular or constant, so I guess this is my body preparing the cervix SLOWLy and painfully. Still, If that blood gets any darker I'm going to the hospital today b/c I have it on two of my instructions to go to the hospital if I am bleeding.

I just don't want to be sent home in pain. I took a Tylenol last night which really helped the pain become more bearable.
