Just to update you on my situation ladies. I finally got hold of the EPU on monday and went in tuesday 10am for another U/S. I was told it started off as twins but now there is only 1, that explains y the date were all out as the growth of twins is smaller!!! the scan tech thought she could see a 'small flicker' of cardo activity but was not sure so asked for a second opinion from another member of staff, who also said it was a very possible and there still a bit of hope there is still a viable pregancy there. afterwards the staff nurse said i have 'baffled everyone' and they dont know whats going on, so they now DO NOT want me to go for d and c. they want me back in a week to scan again (next tuesday 9am)....so really i still dont know if this pregnancy is going ahead or not!!!! i really thought that this scan would be the one to let me know whats going on, but nooooo such luck. trying not to give my self false hope, but still i've had no pain or bleeding, so we're both just trying to stay positive. thanks to everyone who is supporting me it means more than i can put into words. My partner Mark really has been my rock through all this and i just couldnt ask for a better man by my side.

I have had 2 friends go through similar situations (who both have healthy daughters now). One friend miscarried a twin, but was told she was miscarrying and to go home and wait for it to pass, only to find out that one baby had still survived. Another friend was told that she HAD miscarried because she suffered bleeding and her hormone levels had dropped so much. It was only that she went back a couple of weeks later out of instinct to find that the baby was fine. I dont want to give false hope but these things can happen. I hope for your sake everything works out and im feeling for you having to wait to find out these results as its not a good time of year to be feeling upset and anxious. Thinking of you

I can't imagine wat ur goin thru, I'm hoping the days go quickly for u till next scan and then u get the news u av longed for jus in time for Xmas, wow wat a present that wud be hey. I kept checking on here yesterday hoping u had blogged keep us updated fingers crossed for u x x
