16-10-2009 - A Book No Wife Should Be Without

God has blessed me with a wonderful marriage, a man that loves God first and me second, 3 beautiful children. I am by no means the perfect wife, on the contrary I believe that it isn't until you are in a good relationship that all your flaws show itself...and I've seen mine..nor do I believe that my husband is perfect without fault, because I've seen his...nor do I mean that we haven't had any arguments that could have torn my marriage apart. We've been through all those things..we have loved each through flaws, arguments, children, financial problems and "baby daddy". The only answer I can give that we are together today and more inlove than when we met is God. Had we left our marriage to ourselves, we would have failed..but God kept His hand over us. I give you my background b/c I have a strong desire in my heart to see all marriages survive and to let single women w/children know that God can still bless you with a wonderful man.

Recently I have quit my job to take care of my children and of course that is a lost of income on our end, I have been asking God what can I do to help my husband and He told me to get this book "Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie Omartian. I researched her book first and read a lot of wonderful reviews about how this book saved so many marriages, including the authors..but I was confused b/c God my marriage didn't need saving..but it pays to be obediant. I bought the book and IT IS ONE OF THE BEST INVESTMENTS I HAVE EVER MADE. It has taught me so much and especially how powerful a Godly praying wife is. She teaches you how to pray for your husband on every topic imaginable. His work, finances..his sexuality, temptation...his affection and health...she gives scriptures to back up everything. I have only been reading this book for about 3 days and have immediately started implementing these prayers in my life and marriage, and Ladies I have seen results. If your marriage is hurting or you want to start praying so that your marriage won't suffer. GET THIS BOOK! In reading this book, I have open my eyes to more things that I can be doing in my life spirtually and physically. It has truly bless my soul. I would be remiss not to pass this along. I hope that those who take the step of faith and purchase this book, will bless their marriages and spread the word along. Because God rejoices when a man and a woman marries and the enemy seeks to destroy it. Don't let life and circumstances destroy what God has brought together.
