My hair is naturally blonde, and has always been blonde since I had Forest, except for when he was 1-2 months old it was LIGHT brown. Well he is 8 months old now, and I put him down for a nap, then began to dye my hair. I bought 'dark brown' bc if I use the color I am really trying for (usually a light to medium brown) it only last a week or two then starts fading back to blonde and is that ugly in-between orange color. So my hair is pretty much black right now its so dark, but in about a week it will be the color I want it. I realllllly like it!!! Well when Forest woke up from his nap, I went in to get him and he didn't recognize me at all! He looked so confused, and I brought him in the living room with everyone and he was just looking around for me, but I was holding him. And he didn't smile at me at all the rest of the night. It was so sad and made me cry :(. He just kept staring and staring at me. I kept talking to him and holding him a lot, and then the next day he was back to normal and realized it was ok and still me! Looking back its kinda funny, but at the time I was so afraid he thought I left him or something.... Anyway...I will post new pics of my hair once I find the charger for my camera...we just moved and I have no idea where it is.

Awww I went through the same thing... I usually wear my hair off my face in a bun but one day I had an event to go to and I wore it out long and some bangs.. well my babygirl looked at me like "who are you" she wouldn't laugh with me or nothing...LOL I kept talking to her so she could recognize my voice but she kept looking like who are you and where is my mommy. It was so funny b/c I was just like you at first.. I was sad like my baby doesn't know me & I was almost ready to put my hair back in my regular style but after a few minutes she started laughing with me again. Like my mom said.... no matter what your baby will always recognize and know her mommy!!! LOL

Awww I went through the same thing...
