18-7-2009 - baby fever

My mood while writing this blog:
longing...

I have baby fever sooo bad!!! Forest is 8 months old now, so I've been wanting to ttc for about, oh, 5 months or so! I have already cut myself off from watching Baby Story, Deliver Me, Birth Day, Bringing Home Baby, and all my other fav. baby shows. It just makes me want a baby so much more than I already do. My fiance is graduating college next month, so hopefully getting a real job where he can make good money and get benefits. The only problem is I have 2 years of school left. I took a break when Forest was born, but I'm going back half-time this fall. I would like to get through school, but I also want my babies to be somewhat close in age. I want them to play together and would like them to be ideally 2 years or less apart. So right now, if I got preg, they would be around 18 months apart, which sounds pretty good :) I don't want to base everything around me finishing school, I know its important and it's something I want to and WILL do, but going only part-time (for now at least) will take a lot longer and I don't want to wait that long for a baby. I will be a SAHM anyway, until all of my children are in school, so idk.......... today I found myself on the TTC forum fantisizing about ttc...am I going crazy or what?!

You gotta do what you feel is right for your family ..Im still wondering how crazy iam at this point... jk. Your little one is 1 month older then Gavin and Im now 32 weeks preg. yep they will be 11 months apart! knowing for sure that I want to have two with my fiance Im at a point in my life where i would rather do all the baby stuff close together. I hear alot of ppl with 3+ yr olds say that they just got through all of those stages and they dread starting over. Not all ppl feel like its starting over... i would enjoy every min of it either way.

I stumbled onto your page and was shocked to see that someone else is going through the same thing as me. I am desperate to have another baby. My son is almost 16 months and I've been wanting another since he was about 4 months, and it is only getting worse. I too am supposed to be going to school in the fall...my boyfriend just got a huge promotion, so we are excited to see how that will work out. It is to the point to where I too can no longer watch the "baby" shows...birth day, deliver me, bringing home baby, etc. It makes it so much harder, I am feeling like I'm going insane!! It's nice to know that I am probably not going crazy and that there are other women out there feeling the same urges! :)

hey girl, you gotta do what feels right in your heart!!! if you truely want another baby now, go for it!! my own little man was born November 08 also, and we plan to start TTC when hes a year or so, which should give approximately a two year gap in age....cant wait!! :) X

hey you.. im all for babies being close together.... BUT as your friend on here i just know a few months ago you were at your wits end about money and working and such.. I would just wait to try and concieve untill hubby has that job in the bag.. just my advice... but you know we would all be very happy and very supportive if you decide to go for it!!

Hey girl, school can wait, babies cannot!!!! hehe!! I'm going back to school to be a midwife, but i figure I'm staying at home till the kids go to school anyway, with a little bit of part time work here and there. Sonot going to study util kids are older. so just do what u feel :)

can you do your schooling online? Part time online is not that bad and its a way cheaper way to do it then having to rely on daycare.

Not crazy at all! I held out until Sebastian was 7 months old, but after that, baby fever got the best of me! I'll be going back to school after my second is born and old enough to not need me 24-7. PS: Forest is a doll!
