Saturday, March 22nd
weeeeel, we had our third ultrasound on the 14 of this month at 12 weeks:
isn't it ADORABLE? we were able to hear the heartbeat with the doppler as well :) the OB said the baby is about a week bigger than it should be for our due date, so im expecting a baby anywhere from mid-sept. to the 24th. at any rate, it was a special ultrasound :) my mother and grandmother had flown in from the mainland for a week, so there were a literal four generations of family in the room during the US!
i'm still not showing, which is kind of annoying- but i'm over it. the baby is big and healthy, and as long as that stays the same.. i'll eventually show.
we did go buy more comfortable clothing, though. despite my not showing, i have gained water weight (which is my excuse for fat) and i wanted to find clothes comfortable for now, and several months from now...
go to wet seal! they have some very billowy shirts for spring that are pretty cute, and they will last at least until month 6 for me!
anyway... the kitty is doing well, too. the woman lied about his age... so the poor guy is a lot smaller and more of a handful than i had expected (bottlefeeding and all). oh well, im glad we had him so young for imprinting! his name is "glitch". those are his eyes at the top of my page.
Wednesday, March 26th
thank goodness for feeling better ^^ it seems the only discomforts i have now are SEVERE hunger pains throughout the day, uterine growing-pains at night, peeing all the time, occasional headaches, and heartburn in the evening time.
not bad at all ^^
the kitty is doing very well, and is really healthy looking ^^ the dogs are finally used to the new rules (no jumping on mommy, not allowed on the couch/bed, the new baby gate we put up to block the from the kitchen). and we are getting more sleep ^^
woo! oh, and chris' grey belt training is DONE, so we can go back to being happy ^^ the marine corps doesn't make having a family very easy for these guys.
we are going to paint the nursery in the next couple of weeks. i am sort of expecting the baby a week or so early, so it's going to be a little virgo. we are going to paint/decorate accordingly with a more modern, earth tone look. virgo's love perfection, and are most comfortable when surrounded by the idea of clean lines and a sanitized room ^^.
anywhooooo
this baby will sort of round out the mix in the house. there lil ole me, a water sign. chris is an air sign, and now an earth!! yay! although i will admit, i am reluctant to add a fire baby to the house...
ok well.. that is all. we go in on the 11th for our monthly US, and I am hoping that the Ob can tell us what the gender is :)yay! CONGRATS mommys who've made it this far!

Well, we finally figured somethings out that are making life less stressful ^^ We both have debt that needs to be paid off (his credit cards from iraq, and my repo'd celica, RIP BEAUTIFUL CAR). Well, his most expensive card is paid off this month! yay! Our first achievement as a couple ^^ We met last March, so we just hit our "happy oneyearofknowingeachother" day, too :) We are going to go look at cars today, sice his POS won't get me and the baby around. We are getting about 2400 back from Federal, so we are hoping to find a good buy on base. Lots of people sell their cars for cheap before deploying. yay! With the rest of the money we are going to pay off his 2nd credit card! Than it;s just my car, and his last card and we are DONE! I am sooooo proud of us :) He makes the money, and I manage it ^^ I had a job when I first got to the island, but it's a little hard to get anywhere without transportation. ANYWAY. I have decided that getting our kitty was the best idea, ever. Not only does it take my mind off the pregnancy (which is nice, since i think about the baby all the time) but it gives me something constructive to do. Right now we are having problems switching him to dry food. He wasn't weaned correctly from his mother, and so when he eats ANYTHING he sucks at it like a nippple... swallowing air and consequently throwing up. I feel bad for the poor little guy, but after babying him for two days over it, now we are having to practice some hard love. I can't WAIT to see the baby on the 11th ^^ It's at 10am as well, so I don''t have to wait all friggin day like I have been (usually we go around 3). I really hope they can tell us what the sex is :) We will be 16wks2days, and there are moms finding out NOW! *ooooh* :) My mom asked to be the first told, and i said OF COURSE! but she would have been told first anyway, so she didn't even have to ask. Ok well.. happy week 14 ladies!

I felt absolutely horrible most of yesterday >< My poor husband
is probably the biggest casualty in these first few months of
pregnancy. Despite knowing I should be eating fruits and veggies- I
desperately wanted Macaroni and Cheese last night. UNFORTUNATELY all we
had was the SHREK kind, and it just pissed me off (the plan noddles are
the BEST!). It literally took me three hours before i was able to work
up my appetite for anything else!my time schedule is all sorts of
messed up in the begining of this week as well, chris had duty (24 hour
shift) and i had no idea what to do! sleep normally? stay up with him
so i could keep him company through texting? I ended up compromising
and dozing off halfway between normal bedtime, and his alotted sleep
time. gr to heartburn!
Friday, 29 Feb
Well! The dog `s and I are just waking up so this will be short! I am much more relaxed, I saw my baby yesterday :) The little thing really DID look like a peanut ^^ It kept hiding its eyes from us whenever the thingy passed over it, and it was so cute!!! It was an actual little person in there, compared to the heartbeat that it was last time (although the heartbeat was visible!)We were both realllllly happy! This was the first time I have ever had an US where they do it on your belly! It was cold! But I was so friggin happy anyway ^^ We got back to our Piece of Crap vehicle, and I was holding back tears (Ive been SO FRIGGIN EMOTIONAL for a week or so!)we are on a hunt for a kitten right now. This stupid island never has anything you want on it >< gr!Anyway...Saturday, March 22nd
