16-10-2009 - brayden is 16 weeks old !!!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

hello everyone !

hope all you ladies are doing well , brayden is 16 weeks and 1 day old already its crazy !
he is such a happy baby , he smiles loads and happily plays with his toys , im constantly buying him new toys etc my whole family love spoiling him :)
i got him weighed just over a week ago and he weighed 16 pounds 1 ounze ! i had to ask her again what she had said and she laughed and said it again ha ha ! she is so lovely
im going to start to give him baby rice as of next week when he turns 17 weeks as he doesnt seem content on his milk anymore , its not enough he has gone from drinking every 4 hrs to 3 to 2.5 and sometimes he will only go 2 hrs and he drinks up to 8 oz at a time .
im so excited to start feeding him , i have ordered a couple of books for him so i can cook him his food
i got a baby blender , bowls, a trainer cup so he can have some water / juice etc
oh and i also saw some" my first christmas " bibs and i had to get them ! he he
we saw a lovely little reindeer outfit for him to wear on christmas day too :)

he is sleeping well at the moment

he goes to bed between 6/ 7 and wakes up between 6/ 7

so we are more than pleased with that .

Ahhh all sounds great i am sooo pleased and jealous about his sleeping, Danyal used to go right thru but since he has been wanting to eat food now instead of just the milk he wakes every night between 3 and 4am for a feed! Though its strange cause he will only have between 2 and 3oz's grrr! then goes back off to sleep can't think why he is doing this other than he is no longer satisfied on just milk! Hehe! That weight is lovely i had danyal weighed last week and he was 16lbs 3oz!! Such a chubba i was in shock and had to ask twice too! As he was smack on 14lbs a fortnight before!! i was told it because we tried solid food all that fortnight and it makes a difference loool! Greedy bubs! Glad all is good hun, have you got Brayden a haloween outfit? we got danyal a little devil one from tesco Mo chose it, its cute! Take care speak soon x x x
