| 30-3-2009 - Had a little scare yesterday... | My mood while writing this blog:Sore and sleepy.. |
Ended up spending most of last night in the hospital...I thought the baby was coming early but we're both fine! (Thank God!)
I'd had heavy discharge all day (sorry, TMI) then, around 5pm I started getting menstural-like cramps in my stomach and back. I went to the toilet and when I wiped I saw some tiny spots of blood on the tissue, I wasn't sure if it was coming from inside or if I was just a bit cut on the outside. But with the increased discharge and period pain I started getting really scared, the pain started to get much worse around 6...honestly it was so bad I didn't know what to do with myself so Wayne made me call the hospital and they told me to go in and get checked out...they gave me cocodamol (sp?) for the pain and after loads of tests they said I was fine (my cervix was closed) and so was the baby and I could go home...I'm so glad everything's ok! Was really horrible being there again, felt like I was loosing another one.
On the plus side it does mean my GP has finally been chased to write me a prescription for a low dose asprin that's suppose to help prevent me from loosing this baby. I ran out 4 weeks ago and was told the Dr would give me a prescription for some more but he didn't, I kept chasing it and they wouldn't get back to me but because of last night the hospital has phoned the surgery and kicked arse and now I can go and pick it up! Yay!
Hope everything's going well for all you ladies! Loads of love and "baby dust for those who are TTC!
