| 30-4-2009 - 29 weeks | My mood while writing this blog:Excited and prepared! |
Yay! Twenty nine weeks today, only 11 weeks left to go..one more week and I'll be able to count on two hands how many weeks are left...at the minute I need two hands and a foot...which is hard as I can no longer see my feet thanks to my ginormous belly! :)
I've been having dreams that she arrives 5 weeks early since before I was even sure I was pregnant so a bit nervous about that (just in case it's a premonition, which I highly doubt!) but in the dreams she's always been healthy and able to come home within two days so if it is a premonition it's not really a bad one!
I'm feeling confident that I'll be ready for her arrival now, even if she DOES put in an early appearance. Got the cot, moses basket, changing table, mat and bag, buggy, carrier, car seat, blankets, bath, towels, nappies, wipes, cotton wool, cream, toys, toy chest etc etc etc all ready! My study has officially become a nursery (complete with comfy reclining armchair for breastfeeding!) All we need now is a wardrobe for her many, many clothes (there's no way she's going to get through them all!) and a travel cot which wont be essential for a few months after she's born anyway!
Really can't wait to meet my little girl now! Can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone...although being off work is becoming a bit of a drag now, it's so boring and is making these last few weeks drag...but I've signed up for aqua natal classes (starting next week) so that should be a laugh and give me something to do...also starting antenatal classes at the end of this month...I think I only joined them because I want to embarrass Wayne by making him sit in a room full of women who are talking about hemorrhoids, pelvic floor exercise and stress incontinence! :-p
Hope all you ladies, bumps and babies are fantastic today and feeling as "chipper" as me! :) **Baby dust** to the TTCers and good luck and patience for you preggos and mummies! :o)
