| 27-5-2009 - Fifty Days! (Also low amniotic fluid, any help please?) | My mood while writing this blog:Nervous and excited... |
Just 50 days left till our little one gets here, 49 if I go by the scan date as oppose to the date of last AF..SO excitred!!!
Going for another scan on Friday to see if my amniotic fluid levels have gone back up, I'm really nervous and scared about that...Decided (rather stupidly) to have a little look online about what it means to have low anmiotic fluid levels and have scared myself silly that there's something wrong with Emmas kidneys. I burst into tears the other night because I'm so worried about her. :-\
Does anybody have any success stories about being diagnosed with low amniotic fluid, please?
I also read that I might be induced early because of it, or I might have to have a cesarian. (I REALLY hope not!) Does anybody know more about this and in what circumstances they would induce early labour?
The good thing is that the scan showed she's the perfect size for her age, so she's growing ok in spite of the lack of fluid around her...according to the scan she's 1665g which I worked out to be about 3.7lbs and therefore perfect for her age. :-)
Thanks in advance for your comments, I look forward to reading them! :o) Good luck and baby dust to all you preggos and TTCers. xxx
