I lost my mucas plug right before I went into labor with my son but I was almost 10 days over due at that point and was happy to see something going on. But I think it is normal to have that happen now as well. Just part of getting ready to go into labor I guess. I have been having some of the same symptoms as sinny with the thicker stuff a couple of times. Thought it was weird but it didn't seem like the mucas plug to me. This pregnancy thing never seems to get easier LOL

what exactly does the mucus plug look like as you lose it? I have been having thick boggery stuff come out little by little some greenish some clear or whitish but recently with a little brownish in it... I dont get braxton hicks though...

Well your only 35 weeks but I have all the same stuff except the mucus plug thing and my doctor said if she (my baby) comes early then its her time to come.. she told me not to worry and that the contractions was my body getting ready... and the pain is normal cuz baby is getting in position.. call your doc if you start to bleed or your water breaks but i think you should just get ready cuz baby may be coming sooner then you think.... Keep me posted... Jen

Turned 35 weeks today, yesterday if we're going by my scan date...which I suppose I should. Lol.
I started loosing my mucous plug on Tuesday...no blood though. Was so scary at first, lol...I thought my waters had broken...but then I realised it was too thick to be that. (Sorry, TMI!)
My Braxton Hicks have been getting gradually worse, they've always been a bit painful but they're ever so bad now...I can't walk to the corner shop and back without getting in really bad pain! Lol. Normally it takes up about 5 minutes or less to walk home from the shop...yesterday it took almost half an hour because I started having contractions half way home and had to stop every two minutes! Lol.
Really hope she doesn't come early...I'd be worried about her! Hehe...
