| 25-2-2010 - TTC #2, how soon is too soon? | My mood while writing this blog:Thoughtful... |
Hey ladies, we've been thinking a lot about baby number 2 just lately and wanted your opinions. (Especially if you've been there yourselves.)
We were going to wait till Emma's second birthday before trying for the next baby but now we're thinking about trying again around her first birthday so she'll be about 21 months old when her little brother or sister arrives. (Assuming all goes well, of course.)
What do you think the ideal age gap is and if you've had two babies less than two years apart I'd love to hear your stories, thanks! :)
In other news, Emma pulled herself into a standing position today! :) She stood up against the sofa for a good 10 seconds before flopping down, then she got back up again...I put my hand near her feet and she used them as steps to try and pull herself onto the sofa (I'd put her favourite teddy on there, maybe that explains her determination)! I was a bit worried at first because she's only 7 months old and not even crawling yet but I've searched online and apparently all this stuff about bandy legs (provided you're not forcing baby to stand) is a myth or old wives tail...I suppose it makes sense, if she couldn't happily support her own weight she wouldn't be doing it, would she?!
Emma`s-Gruffalo-room!-:)
