03-11-2009 - 20 months!!

My mood while writing this blog: In love with my son!

Hello ladies!! Well, it's hard to believe that Brian will be 20 months on October 6th. Where has the time gone. I miss him being a baby so much, but am loving this fun toddler stage. Not loving the fits though! lol

Brian has been walking since 11 months, throwing overhand since 9 months, running since 12 months, jumping since 15 months (off the ground!) and so on, and so on. He is very advanced, physically. He isn't as advanced verbally though. He says about 10 words (mama, dada, non-non (nonni--Italian for grandma), uh-oh, meow, moo, cocoa (only 2x), hi, baah, & eyes)--I'm sure there a few words, but that's all I can think of. I know they say that is pretty much on track, but I worry that he is behind! He doesn't even say all of those words all the time. He will repeat some stuff...like if I say "say cook....ie" He will repeat it by syllables, but I can't help but worry because everyone is talking about how much their kids are talking. I am hoping he just starts popping out words soon!

Did any of you find that when the words came, the fits diminished?? I feel like some of his fits are because he can't communicate. Some of them are him being bratty because he's not getting his way, don't get me wrong. lol

Other than the occasional fit, he is such a good, sweet, well-rounded little boy, and I just love him to pieces!
