27-12-2008 - Post-Christmas

Well..Christmas is over. Its kind of sad, but now it just seems like the baby will be here VERY soon! Little Greyson made out better than we did for Christmas. I received a box in the mail from my parents that live in Florida and I swear there was about 40 outfits and 3 blankets in there for our little guy. I am so thankful for them as its hard to juggle buying the necessities he needs and cute outfits. Two of the blankets were mine when I was a baby so that was really special. We went to my husbands parents house for Christmas and he recieved more outifts and toys and stuff there. My mother-in-law also gave me money to get a rocking chair for his room which was the last missing piece I needed for his nursery. She also crocheted a blanket for him. Its really cute.

So, since my last blog, the lab called and they found my blood from the glucose test. Phew! I assume the doctors office will call me or something if I failed it to tell me I have to take the 3 hour one?? I assume anyway. But I had to go back to the lab yesterday so they could draw more blood to test for iron and stuff. I go back to the doc on January 6th. This every 2 weeks thing is going to be so weird!

I also came to the realization that I will be 24 next week on New Years day! I seriously do not know where the years have gone! And in less than 3 months I'm going to be a mommy which is so surreal as it doesn't seem like I'm old enough to do that lol. I can't wait though!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and find something fun to do on New Years even though drinking is out of the picture! lol
