03-2-2009 - Big Baby?!

My mood while writing this blog: Freaked out

I am freaking out! I had a doc appt today and I was measuring in at 37 weeks! They figured it was just the way the baby was laying since as soon as I layed down there was a huge bulge sticking up which was the baby of course, but my doctor wanted me to come back for another ultrasound. So I went back in and the u/s tech said his measurements show him over 6 lbs! What?! I have been measuring exactly right this whole pregnancy and so has his ultrasounds, so I don't understand why all of a sudden he is so huge! The doctor was gone, so I couldn't discuss anything with her after that, but now I'm freaking out thinking of how big he could be! I go back in 2 weeks and have no idea what to expect! I am so freaked out about the thought of him being so huge and the possibility of a C-section! I guess the good news is he is head down for sure and I got to see him again. She was trying to get pics of his face and he kept putting his little hand in front of his face. It was so cute. Oh and she said he is definitely not shy because he kept flashing the "family jewels" as she called it. And she said she definitely sees hair. I am just worried about him being gigantic now though, but I guess I shouldn't stress over anything until I talk to the doctor again, but its hard not to!
