22-5-2009 - 18 week check up

My mood while writing this blog: sooo tired

Thank god i had a doc appointment today or i would be having a panic attack... basically i woke up at 3 in the morning with some shooting pains in my belly and this would randomly go on untill later in the morning. every time i had the pain though i did have to go pee... also the past two days ive had horrible back pain. so basically i swore something was wrong and was crying all morning.. i made a promise to the baby and i that if everything was okay i would quit smoking today.. i know its horrible i still smoke but its so friggen hard to quit.. i went from a pack a day to about 7 a day.. anyway.. i went to the doctors and told her everything. she said our bladder or maybe it was uterus i dont remember has contractions when our bladder is full and we need to use the bathroom and that was most likely what i was feeling. she did not seem concerned whatso ever about my pains.. she did comfort me and tell me to stop worrying... then we went to listen for the heart... she kept moving it and moving it and i was watching her eyes to see for any concern.. at first i really thought she was concerend about not hearing it but then it was loud as can be and strong as can be.. the babies heart... i was sooooooooo relieved.. and of course when we heard it she laughed and said the baby just moved away from it.. i guess the baby didnt like it.. anyway... we scheduled the ultrasound today to for the annatomy.... im thinking its a boy... i dont care either way just as long as i have him/her.... oh yeah NEGATIVE FOR DOWNSYNDROME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very good news today. much relief... no more tears.. .annnnnnd drum roll please....

no ciggarette for 11 hours now...
