i just got the best news since i found out i was pregnant. So basically I was fired in January (literally about a day after i convieved) from Red Lobster. Long story short they fired me for misconduct and when I applied for unemployment I was denied because of it. I was denied in March and never heard anything again even though i filed an appeal. So i thought it was done and over with then i got a letter in the mail saying my appeal would be June 2. I told the appeal examiner my story. I got a letter today saying basically Red Lobster did have a right to fire me, but my misconduct was a normal reaction and couldn't be denied unemployment. They said it was an isolated insident which only involved me, talking to myself. Which is very true. Basically I had said What the F*ck to myself as I was walking away from a table that someone was making me clean (wasnt even my table) and a customer overheard me. It seriously wasn't very loud and was very much so talking to myself. Not directed at anyone. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO I am approved for it! All of it is going right in the bank for the baby and my "step son". So fricken happy.

YAY! That's exciting! I applied like a month ago and they told me it could take up to 9 weeks to get approved! Hopefully, I'll be as lucky as you and get it. =]
