24-4-2009 - oakley is growing up too fast

hey everybody, hope you and your babies are all well!

Oakley is 20 weeks old tomorrow, and it has gone by so fast. I don't know where all the time has gone.

Oakley is getting to be such a character now, gone are the days when he would just eat, sleep and poo, now he is playing with all his toys, giggling away and turning into a proper little boy!

He is rolling over both ways now and has even started sitting up without support (see pics). Still no sign of any teeth yet, though he dribbles so much and puts everything he holds into his mouth, so don't think they are far away.

Oakley is having breakfast, lunch and dinner now-he is such a hungry baby. He has a rusk for breakfast, and different vegetables for lunch and dinner. I am also still breastfeeding him and he is such a good sleeper, letting me get a full nights sleep! He was weighed on wednesday and is now 16lb 4oz-no wonder my arms are aching!

We started a mother and baby swimming class this week, which we both really enjoyed. For you girls in the UK its called water babies-look into it as it looks really good!

Now we are looking forward to our first holiday as a family, we go to Turkey in June and I am nervous as to whether I will remember everything and how he will be on the plane. Sure all will be fine though!

aaw he sounds like he is doing great! if hes dribbling alot im sure those teeth will be here very soon! poppy was dribbling so much and biting everything and last week she got two teeth cut through at once! she wasnt even complain just dribbling lots! ha! glad everything is going well for you take care! xx
