11-12-2009 - hospital clothes after delivery.. nutsMy mood while writing this blog:
nuts

So, i'm packing my bags for the hospital, and I dont know what kind of clothes to bring. I really dont want to lay there for days on end in a gown. I'm having twins and regardless of how I deliver, I will be spending at least 4-6 days in the hospital. I would prefer to bring nighties/dresses or even loungewear or flannel pjs. I am wondering what works best though? After you deliver a baby, i'm sure that the nurses are constantly checking you, and pants are probably not the easiest or most accessible for that. Any advice from mom's who have been through this before?

I was in the hospital for 4 nights and the 1st night, I wore the hospital gown. But the next morning, I showered and wore my own pj's. My dr came every day and it wasn't a pain to quickly take them off to check me. I didn't have a c/section and I didn't bleed all that much after so by the 3rd day, I was wearing my velour track suit. Wear what makes you comfortable - especially if you are having visitors. I didn't want visitors - just my in-laws (my family is in Canada) but I still wanted to feel good while I was in the hospital - we aren't sick afterall! Good luck to you!!! xox
