My mood while writing this blog: nuts |
So, i'm packing my bags for the hospital, and I dont know what kind of clothes to bring. I really dont want to lay there for days on end in a gown. I'm having twins and regardless of how I deliver, I will be spending at least 4-6 days in the hospital. I would prefer to bring nighties/dresses or even loungewear or flannel pjs. I am wondering what works best though? After you deliver a baby, i'm sure that the nurses are constantly checking you, and pants are probably not the easiest or most accessible for that. Any advice from mom's who have been through this before?

Friday, 11 Dec I was in the hospital for 4 nights and the 1st night, I wore the hospital gown. But the next morning, I showered and wore my own pj's. My dr came every day and it wasn't a pain to quickly take them off to check me. I didn't have a c/section and I didn't bleed all that much after so by the 3rd day, I was wearing my velour track suit. Wear what makes you comfortable - especially if you are having visitors. I didn't want visitors - just my in-laws (my family is in Canada) but I still wanted to feel good while I was in the hospital - we aren't sick afterall! Good luck to you!!! xox
