17-12-2009 - 11 more sleeps!!

My mood while writing this blog: excited

Well, as of Mondays doctor's appointment, we only have 11 sleeps until they are willing to induce us. I am so excited, and so ready to meet my boy/girl twins. Having a date to look forward to is really helping keep me sane. I can't imagine not knowing while suffering the way I am. I keep telling myself that its only 11 sleeps at the very longest, and thats if I dont go into labor on my own first. And I sure hope I do! Although, the doctor said she wouldnt order an induction until my 37th week.. does that mean when I see her on the 28th I'll go straight to the hospital from my appointment, or does that mean she'll schedule the appointment to be induced and it will still be days' later?

This pregnancy being my first, I am nervous though about how hard its going to be. How will my labor start? How much will it hurt? What kind of mom will I be? Will the babies be normal or have complications or disabilities? If so, how will we cope? Our future is about to change forever, and i'm so curious as to what its going to look like!

My husband is writing his last final exam before Christmas break, this morning. I'm happy because then I can have his undivided attention and help for this final stretch. I have had to be pretty self sufficient as far as fixing food, doing laundry, etc. even though i'm 8 and a half months pregnant with twins. He loves me and has the best intentions, but he really hasnt been vey attentive these last two weeks. Im excited that WE can now get excited together.. and this be OUR focus, not just mine.
