Well, I had a chance to see a few more of my friends & family this week & all agree - I'm showing for sure. In the words of my best friend, "You're going to get enormous!" Another friend reminded me that she wasn't even showing at 5 months with her second when she attended my wedding. Hmmm - damn tall skinny people. I also had my first aquaintance come up & ask if I was expecting. I went on a maternity shopping marathon & am pretty pleased with my success (I just don't need my hubby to see the bank statement).

Today I'm nervous because I started spotting last night & have had persistent lower back cramps all day. I keep trying to tell myself not to get worked up, but if the spotting starts again I'm headed to the ER.

I'm trying to stay hopeful, wish me luck.

Sorry to hear about the spotting. Never welcome! you have a great attitude though. I am SURE its nothing to worry about. It might be your body telling you that you over did it with all that shopping.

Hey hun! Glad you are know showing enough to get noticed! I take great pride in my showing (haha)... Everyone goes "You are so thin and with that belly you look ahead from your actual month". I'm sorry you are spotting. Try to get lots of rest and call your doc. I had backpain with my second spotting around w12 and everything turned out well. Wish the same for you. Good luck girl and keep us informed.

I would call the doctore about the spotting and cramping. They might have you come in... Better be safe than sorry! Other than that glad your getting your pregnancy recognition! :)
