This week I tried to keep a dentist appointment (at 8am, and an hour's drive away - yuck). Driving is becoming really quite uncomfortable, as I generally need to sit either completely upright, or half on my side. I also have a hard time staying awake as I drive - ack! Once at the dentist I was given local anesthetic & my (equally pregnant) dentist started fixing up another tooth. Well, within a minute or two I was passing out! They finally got me sitting back up & feeling OK, but they had to finish up with the one tooth, so they tried working on me sitting up, but I passed out again. My dentist says that the local can cause blood pressure to drop, and since I already have low bp, that's probably why I was having trouble. Anyway - I had a frozen mouth for no reason & had to wait until they felt safe for me to drive. Also, I have to wait until after baby's born to get my crown done - & I don't think it's covered by my insurance then, grr.
Next I hung around town for my massage & pedicure. The massage was ok - I've been starting to cramp quite a bit, so I was somewhat uncomfortable. The pedicure was lovely, though. It's nice to have one part of me that still feels sexy.
We're getting closer & closer to having the house ready to go. Last night hubby & I continued cleaning out the basement, as I almost have my classroom ready to move home. I also started washing all the baby hand-me-downs from my sister. This weekend we're visiting my in-laws & my sister-in-law is giving us a bunch of baby girl clothes & the baby tub & swing - yay!
Tonight are my maternity pictures & I have to call our photographer to find out what to wear. Getting excited!
I wonder if any of the other ladies are starting to get menstrual-type cramps along with the BH contractions. For me, there's nothing you can set a clock by, but it's quite disconcerting. I've been practicing the relaxation techniques from pre-natal, though.
It's strange to be 'kind-of' done work. There's still some jobs to do in my classroom, but I can choose when to do them. I should go get started, though.

sorry to hear about your dentist appointment, that doesnt sound like fun. I keep meaning to go myself but I HATE them!!!
Glad to hear the pedi was nice. I am going to have one I think, my poor feet have been neglected! I just cannot reach.
I have been getting the ood pain but nothing regular or worth noting. Maybe you should slow down a bit hun x x
