| 11-1-2010 - 33 week check up | My mood while writing this blog:ok |
Wow I havent written a blog in a very long time!!! LOL And here I am 33 weeks pregnant and we are all almost done with our journey of pregnancy and then on to motherhood!!! For me I will be a mother of 3! YAY!
Today I went to the doctor for my 33 week check up. I have been having alot of horrible back pain and cramping. The back pain is to the point that when I get up in the middle of the night I feel like I cant walk! Ouch! So the midwife came in and told me that I am dehydrated which was really suprising to me because I drink more than the recommended amount of water. But I guess I will be drinking more! :) She also let me know that I am shedding Keytones in my urine. She used the word ketonuria. She said that this generally happens when the body starts using its fat for energy, and that it means that I am not eating enough or as frequently as I should. I know that I am eating plenty because I LOVE TO IT! LOL! But she recommended that I eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals. I also gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks which is almost the same amount that I had gained so far in the whole pregnancy! I had gained 7 pounds in the entire pregnancy and then now 5 more in the last 2 weeks! LOL Thats got to mean I am eating well right? :) Anyway ladies if any of you know anything about shedding keytones in the urine please let me know... Because my motherly instinct has me worried. She did check my cervix just in case and I am closed. Which is great! Still a little to early for my lil one to be born! But I can tell you I am getting so excited for his birth! I cant wait to see him and hold him!!!
Well thats all for now ladies!!! Happy pregnancy to all of those expecting.... Labor dust to those who are almost done... And LOADS of sticky baby dust to all my TTC friends! Love you all ladies!
