I am so confused right now. I really want to have a career but I worry about our children being in day care for long periods of time. Right now I don't know what to do. My hubby would rather I stay home or find a career that is family friendly. He says he doesn't want our kids at daycare from 8 am- 6pm everyday while their mom is being a career woman. Or spend school holidays in daycare either. I tend to agree but I definately don't want to be a SAHM mom. I have a Commerce degree, I was thinking of converting it into a teaching degree while raising baby next year and enter the work force in 2011 as a teacher. Mainly because I would be able to be home on school holidays with them, can work part time and it's not a 9-5. Sigh. I would like teaching I know that much. The little ones in Primary school. That way they can be in daycare 8-4 maybe? What do you ladies think? Do you know any teachers and how their family life is? Or if you are full time working mum how is it going?
