08-10-2008 - 18 week check up...New Dr

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

My soon to be 9 month old son decides to stand up in his pak n play yesterday, he thought he was so cute doing it too. So that's when I lowered the bed including lowering the bed in his crib! He doesn't crawl, but he scoots on his belly like a wiggle warm getting into everything! He is something else.

Anyway, I switched Dr's as of Monday. I saw my Nurse Practioner (Doctor) Monday October 6th. They took blood to test the baby for down syndrome, cystic fybrosis and so on since my last Dr didn't do anything! I weigh 179lbs, starting out at 170lbs with this pregnancy. I told her that my last Dr told me to starve me myself and she thought that was crazy! I HEARD THE HEARTBEAT FOR THE FIRST TIME it was 140bpm. I find out what the sex of my baby is when I'm around 20 weeks, everyone at school thinks it's a girl, who knows though... if it is a girl that means I'm gonna have to decide what to do with my sons room because they're gonna share and right now it's all in John Deere, so probably do some pink John Deere on one side... okay I'm getting my hopes up. As long as it's a healthy baby I don't care what the sex is.*

Hope everyone is doing good. I'm doing great, Beauty School is going good. I'm still wanting to get a Criminal Justice degree to become Cop, but my husband isn't too fond of that idea, so we'll see where God takes me.
