07-2-2009 - Charity is getting better..

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

I had my baby shower today, it was nice. Got really cute outfits for my Princess.

I'm getting around good, been keeping up with house chores before Charity gets to come home. I made a Welcome Home sign for her, having everybody sign it.

So each day Charity has been getting better. She is now taking over 50cc's of food from bottle. Nomore needles in her including her head! Nomore feeding tube or nasal canula/c-pap. Weighing 5lbs.15oz. She's maintaining her own temperature now. Nomore light for her jaundice. She looks so much better and is the prettiest thing I've ever seen. God has truly healed her quickly and we are so blessed! She had a nightgown, hat and socks on this afternoon when I went to see her, so precious! I'm really hoping she gets to come home this week.. anyway, that's the update. I am so glad my milk has come in, all I've been able to do is pump and take bottles of my breastmilk up to her..makes me feel like I'm doing something as a Mother to feel close to her and I'm being depended on. I love being a Mother and this whole experience has changed my mind about school. Instead of Criminal Justice I wanna switch to Child Education/Developement. I love kids and being a Mother to my kids. I believe that is what I as put on this earth for, makes me wanna cry just thinking about it. Means everything to me.
