02-6-2009 - Week 8 US

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

I was so anxious that everything was ok, keep reading things about missed MC. I haven't had any morning sickness, and not much fatigue. I've been urinating a lot and have a lot of acne though. I was reassured today with the 8 week US. Baby was 0.37 cm two weeks ago, and is now 2.0 cm with a strong heart beat, heart rate 170 (was only 99 two weeks ago, thus the follow up US). We could see the head clearly, the spine, tiny limb buds, the placenta, and baby still has a small yolk sac.

My OB intake is this Fri, 6/5/09. My first OB visit is on 6/25/09 with the NP. My original appt was the following day with the OB, but they had to cancel it b/c she will be out of the office. Bummer. But I have many months to see her again, and I am doing fine, so I'm not too upset.

I have another US next week as part of a research study, and I will be happy to see baby again!
