I didn't know nuts were suspect. My doctor told me to eat more because I am vegetarian. I am glad the visit went well for you.

12 weeks and 2 days today. Visit went well. Fetal heart rate 160. She said that there isn't enough convincing data to ban nuts during pregnancy, so I am going to eat them. Had a handful of almonds when I got home. Splenda is ok. I have gained six pounds. She said that they generally recommend gaining 10 pounds in the first 20 weeks, and 20 pounds in the last 20 weeks of pregnancy... So I only get to gain 4 more pounds in the next eight weeks? Uh oh.
I will be seen once a month, rotate between the MD and the nurse practitioner. Scheduled my 19 week US on 8/11/2009. Can't wait to find out if it's a girl or boy!!
My next research US is 7/7/09, I will be almost 14 weeks.
