07-7-2009 - Week 14 research US

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Had my 14 week research US today. Baby was wriggling around and sucked its thumb!! It was amazing. I could see all of the vertebrae and its heart beating strongly, 153 beats per minute. Right on schedule with the growth - 8 cm. My next research US will be in 2-3 weeks, hopefully will be able to tell the sex of the baby by then!

Later in the evening when I was watching tv, I swear that I thought I felt fluttering in my right lower abdomen. Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap! It was kind of neat! Haven't felt anything since then.

That's so awesome. i am incredibly happy for you that, with this research, you get to you see and connect your baby so often. I know you may feel like your life is just a bunch of schedules/appointments now but I think you also like getting to SEE that everything is going well with this pregnancy. Congrats.
