Nadine had her 3rd Hepatitis B shot today. It's the last one. And it's also her 5 month check up w/ pediatrician. She weighs 17 lb 2.72 oz, her height now is 26.78 in. She's big for her age for typical Asian girl, her doc said. I'm so blessed that she's so healthy and growing well. My husband took us to the hospital in the morning, but he couldn't wait until the doc come (the doc came late). My mom and my lil sister came w/ me. Nadine cried a little after the shot. She drank her milk then get cheerful again. We went home by cab. Nadine sleep all the way home after the shot. Then, I got back to the ovz.
We'll go back to the doctor on Jan 30,2009 for DPAT III and Hib III shot. That'll be her 6 month app w/ her pediatrician.
Btw (by the way), I finds white and reddish spots on Nadine's chin and a lil beneath her cheeks. I thougt the rash was because the milk and her saliva (she likes to play with the milk she's drinking...and makes such a mess on her face. Trying to catch adults' attention, I guess). But her doctor said No, it ain't because of that. Her doc considered this was allergic. Since I'm breastfeeding, I have to go on a seafoods, eggs and chocolate diet for a while.
(What???? Chocolate? Give me a break...I'm a chocoholic and my daughter allergic on it? Wow...it will be a hard struggle then. But I'll do it, for Nadine)
