25-9-2009 - Our 4th & Final Addition

My mood while writing this blog: Over The Moon!

In this blog I will keep everyone up to date on whats going on in my pregnancy!I've been extremely worried about this pregnancy just as I've been with all of my other ones! I've had a miscarriage in the past so that makes me worry even more.

08/15/2009- I woke up at 5:20 A.M. to make my 5 month old son Leiland a bottle, I had 1 test left and I sat there and thought about how weird I had been feeling lately and so I decided to take a HPT which came up positive in just seconds and the lines were so dark!! I was planning on waiting one more year before I even thought about trying to get pregnant but here I am pregnant again!! It's a little earlier then expected but I couldnt be happier! This will be my last baby!! 4 is more then enough for me!!

09/23/2009- Today I went to the doctors at 10:45 A.M. (after having to push my first appt back so many times before) hoping to ease my mind. I usually go in for an early ultrasound before my first doctors appt, well not this time.. Not too much happened today, my doctor did a pelvic exam and told me that everything was fine and not to worry... how can I just not worry??

09/23/2009- I came home from my doctors appt this morning and I scheduled my first ultrasound appt for today as well, I will feel much better when I see my baby and hear its heartbeat for the first time!! I arrived at my ultrasound appt at 2:15 P.M. I was so nervous as I sat in the waiting room waiting for them to call me back. My brothers very pregnant girlfriend ( She's going on 1 week overdue!) took me and my 4 year old son Jordin to my appt and it felt great to have someone there with me to support me. Well I was finally called back and of corse they ask their questions and then on with the scan...... I just laid there, my heart was racing I felt so nervous that I could barely breathe!! Then for the first time I seen my baby, I wiped the sweat off of my brow and was so relieved.. I almost cried, I just wish that my husband could have been there with me today, The babys heartbeat was 167 bpm! I feel so much better now!!

10/13/2009- I arrived for my ultrasound appointment at 2:00 P.M. as scheduled, the waiting room was really empty, there was only one girl there aside from me. I was a little upset because I couldnt take my son with me this time because of the whole flu thing. I finally got into the room about a half an hour later. My mother took me this time, it's the first time that she's seen this baby :) Everything looked great, the baby's heart beat was 158 bpm! The doctor came in after the scan was complete and told me that the fluid on the baby's neck was a 2.1 which is normal, he said anything up to 3 in normal. The only thing that worried me a bit is he said something about my uterus and the layers of it maybe sheading or something. I don't know, I'm gonna talk to my doctor about it at my next appt which is this coming Tuesday.

10/20/2009-I arrived for my appt at 1:15 P.M. and got weighed, I lost a pound and don't see how lol! My blood pressure was normal also. There wasn't much that my doctor did today, the babys heart beat sounded great!! My doctor didn't get my ultrasound report yet so she's gonna call them and see what's going on with my uterus, she didn't want to tell me it was one thing when it may be another. She said that my stomach was growing beautifully : ) my pap was normal as well so it looks like everything is going well!!

11/17/2009- I had my third doctors appointment today. I found out that I've only gained 2 lbs. during my pregnancy so far, that kind of worries me because I'm almost 18 weeks pregnant and I'm so used to gaining a lot more weight by now. The doctor still doesnt have any concerns so I guess that everythings ok. my doctor didnt find the babys heartbeat as quickly as she usually does so I started to worry a bit but then she found it!! I knew in my heart that there was a baby in there alive and well because I've been feeling movements and little kicks all this week. My ultrasound report was in and she said that everything in the report was fine and that if there was something seriously wrong that the doctor that did the scan would have said something, I feel so much better now knowing that everything is ok with me and baby!! I got a lab slip today and my ultrasound slip :) Only 7 days until my hubby and I find out what our precious baby is, I can't wait! My blood pressure was good also, everythings looking great at this point.

11/24/2009- My husband and I arrived a few minutes late to my appt today because my babysitter was running late, The day just started out so horrible... I was almost certin that I was carrying a little girl well it wouldnt be to long before I found out. We sat in the waiting room for about 10 minutes and then we went back. My mother, brothers ex girlfriend Jackie, and my friend Pete were all there to find out what we were having!! I was laying on the bed and about 5 minutes into the ultrasound our not so shy little baby was more then happy to show mommy and daddy their surprise lol. It was very much a surprise to me and everyone else.... ANOTHER LITTLE BOY!! As soon as I seen it and she typed BOY on the picture I just cryed!! I feel sooo bad that I actually sat there and cryed but I wanted so bad to have another little girl that I could name after my grandmother that passed away 3 years ago. My oldest child Jordin was a little upset when we got home and shared the news with him. I am excited about the baby but still a little sad. I'm just glad that he looks healthy! My husband and I have decided to name him Isaac Matthew Bryant :)

12/15/2009- My mom came to pick me up today for my doctors appt. I have been really concerned with my weight gain, I guess because I'm used to gaining so much more by now.... My blood pressure is good and so far I've only gained 4 lbs. total! My doctor doesn't seem to be concerned at all, she said that the baby is right on track according to the ultrasound and she said that my stomach seems to be growing great!! I feel so much better knowing that everythings ok :)

01/12/2010- My mother and I arrived at my appt. a few minutes late, as usual. I hate being late but having to drag my other kids out with me is a pain in the butt, My brother Bryan has been keeping an eye on my daughter Kayla for my last couple appt's. which makes things a little easier but having to take both of my boys is still a task. As of today I have only gained 6 lbs. total and my blood pressure is still normal. My doctor measured my fundal height at a 27 so I guess that all is well :) I got my lab slip for my gluclose test, I hate having blood drawn!! Oh well, whatever it takes to make sure that me and my baby boy are healthy :D

**I go in for my sixth doctors appt on 02/09/2010 at 3:30 P.M. and I cant wait to hear the babys heartbeat again!**

hey i find out what im having on the 25th!! =) I have only gained 3lbs all together. So dont feel alone and this is my 1st so i have like no idea whats usually going on. Im so thankful everything is going good for you. God bless

Hiya. Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while. I started back at work on the 14th Sept!!! Argh!! It's so effing stressful! Oh well, it has to be done! I've got the weekend off, which is a relief! Glad to see all is going well with the little bean! :smile Did you get any pics from the U/S scan? I looked after a 3 week old at work yesterday + memories of a tiny Ben came flooding back! I think we'll start trying for baby number 2 when I'm a qualified nurse (+ we have our own place!) I'm just flicking through my messages on here + saw something about a name poll from you so will have a look in a bit. Hope you're having a great weekend! Becca x
