02-6-2009 - MY SONS ARE WONDERFUL

My mood while writing this blog:
GREATFUL

Ladies I have to say today was a beautiful blessful day for me. To begin Thank You to everyone for their birthday wishes. My day started off with my oldest son call at 6:30 am to wish me blessings and stating he wanted to be first to tell me, also to tell me make no plans for the evening cause he and his brother were taking me out. I had a NST & Dr visit that went well. Baby is on target and growing beautifully. Rest of day was full of good wishes and loving jokes from friends on Facebook. My evening could not have been better. My sons came to door at 7:30pm with arm loads of balloons for me. We went to Cheesecake Factory (which I have never eaten at before) for dinner. Took a lot of pix, which made me realize I had no pix of the two of them together as adults. Food was excellent and in huge portions. Mr baby even allowed me to keep some down for a change. At dinner he was jumping all over the place like he knew it was a special occassion. I told my youngest to take my left overs home so he could have it later in week, also keep him out my fridge for a while looking for a meal.......smile After dinner my oldest son had arranged for the staff to sing to me. They brought me a strawberry cheesecake my favorite full of candles. Yes there were 46 candles on the cake and you know a girl could not blow them all out. They sang off key and made me cry. After dinner I watched my unemployed youngest donate his $20.00 to dinner with pride. The whole nite was so wonderful that I will always remember it. If nothing else I know I serve a Great God who has given me great sons that I have raised and an after thought to come in a few weeks to make parenting even better. As I sit here writing this before going to bed, I just wish every parent could experience what I have tonite to watch their babies who once wore diapers and cried over 20 years ago, make my day special.
