30-6-2009 - week 36 Nst visit

My mood while writing this blog: hot

Hello ladies, well today I went for my week 36 NST visit. I guess I’m looking a blessing in the face and not appreciating it. I was told they will schedule my delivery date for July 17. My due date is July 24, but all along I had been told by doctors I would most likely deliver by c-section between week 32 & 37 at the latest. So for the last 6 months that’s what I have concentrated on. I have been on bed rest confinement since February and I am so tired of this house. I am going crazy now and the closer the date gets the worse I get.

I am very happy don’t get me wrong that I have come this far. My Dr. told me today they are really shocked with all the things I had going against me that put me as high risk in the first place. My age of 46, my over weight, gestational diabetes, swelling of feet and legs and high blood pressure. The Dr. in fact said I did better than most of his younger patients during the pregnancy. Every visit was normal as far as tests were concerned and I didn’t have to be admitted at all to hospital. I thank God for this believe me but I am just so restless and hot from the heat.
