10-7-2009 - I am mentally ready

My mood while writing this blog: relaxed

Ok ladies today is my offical week 38 date and I am scheduled for c section next Friday the 17 of July. I am proud to say I am ready. All around ready. I know there is nothing me and my God can not do together and he has brought me so far never leaving me so far. If I can raise two hard head boys ages 20 & 24 now and they have nerve to admit they were hard headed, I know I can do it again. I am wiser now at 46 than I was when I started with them at 22. After all the things they tried I am ahead of the game. I have been through fights in the street, child being chased by gang of boys, court for curfew, tardiness, fighting and paddling with them. I have even gone to court when one brother took another over a fight in the house that the whole court room laughed at and the judge gave me her sympathy, while telling the oldest to grow up and move out.

My greatest joy was short term, which was living alone. My youngest getting his own place last yr, but at least I have a few yrs of a mild child and will appreciate the terrible two's and no stage more knowing teenagers are worse. I am ahead of the game this time cause I can always tell big brothers come spend time with their younger brother and give back for the migranes they gave me.

I am ready for my baby, to see who he looks like, watch him sleep and most of all play dress up. I cant wait knowing this time around I wont have to financially struggle as I did with the other two and really appreciate being a mom with that shadow over my head.
