21-7-2009 - Finally met my bundle of joy

My mood while writing this blog: BLESSED

Hello ladies, well my little one is here was born on Fri July 17, 2009 at 10:10 am via C-section. I was and am very excited to have delivered a healthy baby boy who I named Cortlen.

To my surprise my son did not weigh over 9 lbs but instead 6 lbs 10 ozs. I am so glad the Dr did not let my persistance to deliver early over ride his professional knowledge. I was told back at 35 weeks my son was 6 lbs 5 ozs and week 38 he was over 7 1/2 lbs. Wow.... when they brought him to me I was so shocked at his size and thought if they had delivered I would of been in trouble.

I am excited and just seeing him smile is amazing. Those brothers of his who questioned his existance cant get enough of holding him. They fight over who he has smiled at most. His niece who is 4 says his name is baby uncle and enjoys feeding him. When he opened his arms stretching to her she screamed he loves me.

Ladies thanks for all your support and prayers along this journey it was s needed at the various stages when I was so down and out.
