On Saturday, Tim and I attended a 6 hour childbirthing class. All in all it was pretty good, and packed with lots of information. I wish we could of done a little more lamaze breathing practice but I guess, that time will come soon enough. We practiced putting diapers on baby dolls and how to do the swaddle blanket wrap. The last thing we did was tour the maternity ward. It's a small hospital were we will be going, so the nursery is not like what you see on TV, in fact there were no babies there. And maybe one patient in the whole ward. That would be ok if it is that way when I have to go in, because they only have one birthing tub which I would like to use. They don't allow you to deliver in the tub but you can go into to relax and supposedly the water has the effect of pain relief.
