Hi
My two cents at being a stay at home mom is Yes you might get a little bored and have to work at having female friendships....But that small negative is nothing compared to the fact you get to see your little on grow up enjoying all the milestones of walking talking and not having to worry about who is watching your child....
I see that you have older children I do to. I have an 22 AND 19 year old girl and Now a surprise little joy of a girl who is 20months.
It is very different this time; I have been happily married for 10yrs this time......Last time with my oldest girls I was divorced when they were little and a single Mom...
I am now a stay at home with a very supportive loving husband.......I am so so enjoying my little girl
Yes sometimes I am a little lonely but I figure I need to work hard at scheduling friendship AND in the end I know it is worth it to me anyways becuase they are little only once and it goes by so quickly...
Anyway I plan on joining a mom's group by the end of april..........I try to let you know how it goes
Oh, And now I am trying to get pregnant again my husband and I also decided to try to have another one so our little girl does not grow up to be an only child... Though it is emotional trying again...Instead of repeating visit my Profile

Most SAHM's go get jobs because they get burned out. Good luck, If I could, I'd do it FOR A WHILE, But I'm like you, I've always worked.

Awh man.. I wish I could be a stay at home mom. You are going to have so much fun.. You dont have to plan out anything, just do what ever you feel like for the day. If you feel like staying in your jammies all day then do it. If you want to go to the park or window shoping or just watch sappy movies, more power to you.. There is no rite way to be a stay at home mom. Just as long as you and your children are enjoying eachothers company and the house work is getting done, do what ever you want.. IM JEALOUS :)

Girl, you have plenty of time to think about that. Your baby will keep you busy enough for the first 3 months anyway! Enjoy being a SAHM !

Hey ladies,
My husband and I have been so excited about our baby and we have decide to go back to back and have two. Yes that's right two.... So he tells me that he wants me to stay at home.... Be a stay at home mom. Well I have worked since I was 15 and now I'm 39.... I dont even now what a stay at home mom does... If you are a stay at home mom please comment.... what is a play date, where can I meet friends, how do you pass the time.... I watch msnbc and cnn.... Morning Joe and The View.... So what, how and where do you make a stay at home mom.... By the way he gets off work at 2:00 and he is off thur fri and sat each week. So those days are covered. Monday thur Wednesday I am lost.... Suggestions please
